Nordisk Panorama Event
Nordisk Panorama Event is the main platform for short films and documentaries in the Nordic region, offering an annual business venue and showcase. Comprising the triptych of Nordisk Forum for Co-financing of Documentaries, Nordisk Panorama - 5 Cities Film Festival and Nordisk Panorama Market, Nordisk Panorama Event spans all professional focus areas from development and financing to distribution and exhibition.
21th Nordisk Panorama - 5 Cities Film Festival
This year's edition of the Nordisk Panorama Event takes place in Bergen, Norway, 24-29 September, and welcomes films from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. Last year, Nordisk Panorama - 5 Cities Film Festival 2009 in Reykjavík, Iceland presented a total of 165 films. 72 of these were shown in the 3 competition programmes for the Nordic Short Film Award, the Nordic Documentary Award and the New Nordic Visions Award. More than 550 professionals from the Nordic countries, the rest of Europe and beyond gathered to celebrate the best Nordic short and documentary films from the past year.
Nordisk Panorama Market
Nordisk Panorama Market offers a comprehensive overview of the previous year's production of short films and documentaries from the Nordic countries. In 2009, the 268 short films and documentaries were screened by 37 attending TV-buyers, distributors, financiers, and festival programmers from Europe and North America.
